I fell in love with the magic of lighting 11 years ago. I became deeply moved by the stories told through music and dance at College of DuPage and The Academy of Movement and Music. When I saw Rodolfo cry out over the death of Mimi in La Bohme, with the orchestra crying out with him, light pouring through that giant apartment window, my heart exploded. I was hooked. I could feel the power of all of these elements together. I knew my future would be shaped by light. My favorite lighting is bold and impactful. I always want my lighting to support moments that make people feel as deeply moved as I was by La Boheme.
